Therapy Session #2

Today, I woke up with a hunger for some analysis, so this is why I am starting this one session, an Audio Session.

Now I want all of you, who would like to participate fully in this, who would like to experience the best quality, to lean back, relax, breath deeply and close your eyes, lets your imagination run wild and once the audio is done, relay it into a text, a comment, of what you have seen a scenario, an image, what was happening in your head when you were listening to this piece of audio.

I eagerly await your analysis and don't worry, there are no loud jump scares in the audio, I dislike those myself.

Of course this is where I type up my own analysis, of what I see, but sadly I have no time right now, for you see, I am rather busy.

But I hope you have a good time and seriously, if you want to fully experience this, then I suggest you close your eyes, relax, breath deeply and as I already said, let your imagination run wild.

See you all later today, maybe.

  1. Silence. A silver chain, a fetter, shifts. Echoes of sound, pipes. Underground, odd luminescence, complete darkness. It shifts, sniffs at the air. Restrained. A killer. The hum of power, underneath it all, a static electricity making the air crackle. The chains continue to shift as the killer strains against it's boundaries, tries to break free.
The fetters aren't real. Nor the cage, nor the killer. The figment cave, falsely lit by some fell luminescence, is still. Water drips into stagnant pools, the strange music of abandonment. A chanting, somewhere. Bouncing off the tunnels. Another trapped, yet reveling in her chains. Happy only in capture.

    1. Interesting and very good, especially the last part, shows that sometimes, the freedom that people seek for, isn't really what they think it is and it's better to remain in capture, than look for something, that is unknown.

That's how I understood your description, very good.

  2. Ice and snow- a vast open blanket of frozen earth in which one is lost. Dripping water indicates a brief reprieve from the cold, but it is fleeting. The one who is lost faces a decision: stay still and perish without a fuss or keep going- not out of the hope to survive, but out of refusal to die so passively. Slowly but surely they begin to walk again

    1. Two paths huh? Two decisions. Two decisions that you yourself face everyday, two paths that are reoccurring parts in all of your stories. Is this not the connection that I see?

      In any way, very good.

    2. Path of needles or path of pins. Yes, this is the choice that I have made and will have to make until the end

  3. It's probably a bit dumb, but here's what I see.
I see a dying planet, a land covered with snow, a traveler trying to reach a destination, but slowly freezing as they go along. They think that they are close and will make it, they have hope. A force tries to stop them begging them not to continue, they wouldn't make it through their travels (possibly a memory of a sorts), but they pay no heed to the warning, and they push on further. They are determined. Eventually though they realize that it is too late for them, they won't be able to finish their journey. They feel themselves falling apart. But they still push on, there's still a chance that they will make it. They hold on to that hope even as the cold kills them, until they reach a spot (possibly a lake or cave) where they finally fall, unable to continue. Then as the sun rises bathing the land in a soft light, they die.

    1. Never give up, even when all hope is lost, a fighting spirit. Is that your fighting spirit? You believe that you will die, yet you won't simply lie down, that is what you believe in.

      Good job.

  4. ...When we did this we imagined the same thing so this is what me and the idiot saw.

We found ourselves in a dark place stretching forever, a void, oblivion. Started walking. We could feel millions of eyes watching, judging us. Every time a sound effect happened we felt something as black as the area around us slither around our body, but then leave.

Each *clang* caused a little light to appear, but they were not luminescent. We stopped walking, watching the lights bob up and down. They seemed to move away whenever whatever they were came back but moved closer when they were gone.

When the singing started the lights expanded, finally lighting the place up. What we say was that we were in an absolutely massive medieval castle, fully intact. In front of us was Master, standing still. We looked around us, seeing black tentacles rising and writhing on the ground everywhere, most likely Masters. But behind Master was a set of stairs, and at the top of that three thrones. In one, sat us as a child (about 7 or 8 years old). The second, us as a teenager (16 or 17). And in the final one was an exact copy of us right now. We walked around Master and looked at the three, realizing they were slightly transparent.

There were words above there head. Innocence, Child. Intuition, Teen. Dedication, Adult. We assumed we were supposed to choose one. The visions differed from here. I chose dedication while JP took Intuition. When we both took ours the singing stopped, and the world was plunged back into oblivion. And then we both felt Masters tentacles encase us.

    1. In your case Veigar, tis loyalty that you have, loyalty to your master and even when he will start ripping you apart, you will still be loyal. That is a quality that is admirable.

As for JP, he wants nothing, but to live a normal life and who can blame him? He wants to be free of you and Master, but he doesn't have the strength to free himself, that is what he tells himself every day, when in reality all it takes is some effort and time.

      Good one, both of you.

    2. The reason neither of us chose innocence was because, why choose something that can be lost in the blink of an eye?

    3. Want a reason? Here's one, it's not that you can lose in a blink of an eye, you're just afraid you'll fail to preserve it. Saying that you can lose it in a blink of an eye is easy, now proving wrong, that's a completely different story and not everyone steps up to prove it.

  5. After an untold amount of months in the dark, she darts out of a cave, barefoot on the dirt and grass. A birth, if you will. No time to embrace the moonlight, starlight, or the sharp air. Keep moving. It's time to go looking for it. She doesn't know what it looks like, she thinks maybe she'll just know when she's found it.

It's a worn, oft-walked path, that she can tell. But either they've left no signs, or too many contradicting, overlapping signs, each trying to sing louder than the other.

She jumps when a leaf or mist or wind whispers in her ear. Maybe they are all trying to tell her something. Or maybe they are talking amongst themselves. Should she be ignoring them? She slinks back into the shadows, deeper and blacker than depression.

Moonlight falls softly onto the world. It is a bittersweet land of things that go bump in the night. Nothing slips her attention. But nothing holds it either. Keep moving.

Snakes. Snakes. Snakes like... murderers. Psycho proxies. Axe-wielding crazies. Nah, she doesn't think killers are really like that. But still.
    Snakes like... rapists. Worst fear.
Snakes like... starvation. She wonders how long it will be before she eats poison dirt. Wait, maybe she'll be offered food. But what if they're street groomers? How would she know then? You heard about those guys? She can't remember how to spot those specific snakes. They are so well hidden.

So well hidden. They snatch at her ankles. Frightened, she kicks them off. She needs it to find it, the thing she is looking for.

3:57. It's getting unbearable. She breaks into a blind run. Whatever the fuck it is, it can't be far now, just have to keep moving, feet sting, out of breath, but that's the last thing that matters. She runs until she can no longer, until she collapses and embraces the frosted ground. Silence, end, no more music, and--

And then it strikes her. Looks up and around. She has no idea where she came from or where she is going. She'll never fucking find it. Maybe it isn't looking for her anyway, maybe it doesn't care. Maybe she had it but lost it? Or had it but didn't appreciate it? No, she's sure she hasn't seen it yet, but she can't be looking hard enough for it.

WHERE THE FUCK IS IT? She tries to scream the words but they fizzle out. Still, the water ripples and owls flee their perches. She maybe thinks she knows what it is now, and that's when she realises she won't ever find it. Nothing left to do but burn the forest to the ground. But she can't bring herself to.

Looks around. Reaches up, as if someone is offering her a hand, but she doesn't see anyone. She stands up and continues along the path, looking for it still. At this point she knows what she's looking for. She knows it doesn't exist either, since it doesn't, it has several words for it in English, all a fucking scam. All WRONG.

    1. I have a feeling, that you were the one who had the most real experience in this Session, you described all of your fears, not the ones that stalk us, but the ones you had before all of this had happened.

As for the searching part, that is also you, looking on how to defeat these Monsters, you don't know what the solution looks like, you don't know where it is and nothing can describe it, you are practically looking for something, that might not even exist.

And even facing such hopelessness, you control yourself, you don't go insane, you don't go on a killing spree, you don't do any of that, because you know that you are still human, still a person.

      Good job.

    2. I hadn't considered it might be monsters as well. But that is more obtainable than the other.

    1. So you consider yourself to be a predator, who requires to kill the weak in order to survive. And that does kind of fit with you.

    2. Sort of I guess, except I don't just go after weak ass motherfuckers like some kind of scared shitless school bully. I'll take on the tough fuckers too.
      I don't know. I just like sharks

  7. I picture...a lush, primal jungle. It's nighttime...and there is a group of men out hunting. What they don't realize is that they are the ones being hunted.

When they are attacked...one survives. A young boy, out on his first hunt. He stares at the corpses of his family and friends...and quietly walks back to his village.

Also, may I just say that it's nice to be back?

    1. Judging from what you have described, it resembles the moment when your family died, to be precise, your lack of reaction to that. Which is weird why you describe a jungle, jungle is a place of chaos, constant energy, could it be that you are still sad about your parent's death, that you are keeping your emotions under a firm grip?

  8. It's dark, very dark. I don't know where I am. Where am I? How did I get here? I look around but all I see is nothing; I listen but all I hear is nothing; I reach out but all I feel is nothing. I can only hear my breathing and my heartbeat as it increases from fear. I can only feel the tears that run down my cheeks from fear.

    Am I dead?

I look up to see this small spot of light. Hope wells up in my heart. Perhaps there's someone holding the light who can tell me where I am. I move towards it walking slowly at first and then increasing my pace to a jog.

The light goes out. I spin around rapidly, wondering where the light went. I catch sight of it again and start moving before it blinks out again. My tears turn to those of frustration. I just want to get out of here!

The light comes back, but it's different. Bigger. Brighter. Blocked by a figure. I see the figure reach out their hand. I stop, confused. I can't see this person's face, but I feel as if I know them. The light behind the black figure grows steadily stronger, but it does not illuminate their face.

"I have been waiting for you."

I hesitantly move towards the figure - the male. I grasp his hand and he pulls me in close, holding me against his chest. One hand rubs my back while the other traces over my hip.

"You have found me again. Let's see how you fare this next round."

    It's dark.

    Very dark.

    I don't know where I am.

    Where am I?

    1. What you described there, judging by this person's words, as if you were playing a game of hide and seek, only you, yourself didn't know about it. By the way that you describe that this person held you, you must have pictured someone close to you, maybe a father figure?
